Welcome! I am a fifth-year accounting PhD candidate at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I am a CPA, and prior to pursuing my doctorate, I was in the finance and accounting leadership development (FALD) program at Navistar International and was an auditor at Grant Thornton. I have experience with financial reporting and auditing across public, non-profit, manufacturing, and technology organizations. I am an AICPA Accounting Doctoral Scholar and my research interests include corporate governance and audit quality. I teach introduction to financial accounting and graduate auditing.
In my "free time" I enjoy hanging out with my dog and husband and partaking in assorted activities to keep my heart rate down. This includes all things food (gardening, listening to the Home Cooking podcast, watching the Great British Bake Off and Top Chef, exploring Bib Gourmand restaurants, and trying new Smitten Kitchen recipes), yoga, and various aerobic activities. |
